About The Alumni Fund |
| Why Does The Fund Exist? We have a two-pronged mission. First, we do whatever we can do to help keep Sentinel alumni connected. This is accomplished through this website and the features housed here, including the popular Alumni Directory. Second, we work to provide aid to deserving Fort Hill graduates attending their choice of college or university. We do this by holding periodic fundraisers and disbursing the proceeds to deserving students. |
| How Are Scholarship Recipients Selected? Specific qulaifications are still under development. However, scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of academic success, engagement outside of the classroom (extracurricular activities), and financial need. |
| How Do We Raise
Funds? We rely on two primary streams of income. The first is donations from alumni and other friends of Fort Hill. As a non-profit organization (operating as a 510(c)(3) organization), all individual contributions are deductible from federal taxes. Second, we hold fundraisers periodically. |
